One of my best memories in my time living in Boston MA was getting a brat at one of the vendor carts outside of Fenway Park during baseball season! This is my attempt to recreate a memory and let me say – I came pretty damn close! Enjoy!
Ingredients
This entire preparation time is 10-15 minutes
- 1 white onion (chopped)
- 1 green pepper (chopped)
- 1 red pepper (chopped)
- 1 orange pepper (chopped) (optional)
- 1 clover garlic
- olive oil
- J&R Ranch Beef Brats
- Ground Mustard (optional)
Preparation
Saute Peppers and Onion
- Chop each of the peppers and onions and put to the side
- In a skillet on medium heat add the olive oil and garlic
- after a minute or two, add the peppers and onions
- saute the peppers and onions for a few minutes until they have reduced
J&R Ranch Beef Brats
- The beef brats have already been cooked so we just need to reheat these. I prefer to use my outdoor grill or cast iron skillet to heat.
Ready to Server
- Add the brats to the bun of your choice
- Optional – I like to add a bit of ground mustard to add that extra bit of flavor
- Cover with the saute pepper and onions
