Beef Brats with Saute Peppers & Onions

One of my best memories in my time living in Boston MA was getting a brat at one of the vendor carts outside of Fenway Park during baseball season! This is my attempt to recreate a memory and let me say – I came pretty damn close! Enjoy!

Ingredients

This entire preparation time is 10-15 minutes

  • 1 white onion (chopped)
  • 1 green pepper (chopped)
  • 1 red pepper (chopped)
  • 1 orange pepper (chopped) (optional)
  • 1 clover garlic
  • olive oil
  • J&R Ranch Beef Brats
  • Ground Mustard (optional)

Preparation

Saute Peppers and Onion

  • Chop each of the peppers and onions and put to the side
  • In a skillet on medium heat add the olive oil and garlic
  • after a minute or two, add the peppers and onions
  • saute the peppers and onions for a few minutes until they have reduced

J&R Ranch Beef Brats

  • The beef brats have already been cooked so we just need to reheat these. I prefer to use my outdoor grill or cast iron skillet to heat.

Ready to Server

  • Add the brats to the bun of your choice
  • Optional – I like to add a bit of ground mustard to add that extra bit of flavor
  • Cover with the saute pepper and onions
